Q. How do I look up a legal case?

Go to Lexis-Nexis.
At the bottom, center of the page click on “Look up a Legal Case”. This will expand the section and give you the option to search by:
Legal Citation (e.g. 347 U.S. 483)
Parties involved in the legal case (e.g. Mapp v. Ohio)
Topic (e.g. equal opportunity)
Once you get the results, you will have the option to sort the case by court type such as state or Supreme Court.
