Your instructor may have requested that you create an annotated bibliography of your sources as you work on your research paper.

Annotated bibliographies allow you to reflect on your topic, explore the salient points in the field, and evaluate your sources critically.

This video from Purdue OWL explains what an annotated bibliography is and how to format your annotated bibliography. A more comprehensive guide to formatting and creating an annotated bibliography is found on the Creating an Annotated Bibliography page in the Communication Sciences & Disorder Research Guide.
